Daniel Ershov is an Assistant Professor in the Marketing & Analytics group at the UCL School of Management. He is also a CEPR Research Affiliate, CESifo Research Network Affiliate, Associate Researcher at the Toulouse School of Economics, affiliated researcher at ANITI, and Research Associate at CRESSE.

His research is in quantitative marketing and empirical industrial organization. He studies firm competition, market regulation, online markets, algorithmic pricing, influencer marketing, and digitization. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Political Economy, Marketing Science, American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, RAND Journal of Economics, The Economic Journal, International Journal of Industrial Organization, and Oxford Review of Economic Policy.

Daniel received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Toronto, where his committee was Victor Aguirregabiria, Avi Goldfarb, and Heski Bar-Isaac. He also holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and a B.Soc.Sc. Honours in Economics from the University of Ottawa.
